S.F.C. COLTS OFFICIALS
From the inception of the Strathalbyn Colts in 1957, as a Schoolboys Under 14 team initially, administrative matters were handled by the SFC General Committee via a Colts Manager.
When the Strathalbyn Football Club joined the GSFL in 1963, only one Colts grade (under 16 years as at 1st January) existed.
In 1968 this was divided into Senior Colts (under 16 years) and Junior Colts (under 13 years) grades.
Rather surprisingly Strathalbyn did not field a Junior Colts team in 1968 because of ” A lack of officials “.
A separate SFC Colts Committee was instigated for the commencement of season 1968.
The GSFL amended the Senior Colts Grade to Under 17 years and the Junior Colts Grade to Under 14 years for the commencement of the 1977 season.

S.F.C. COLTS BEST and FAIREST WINNER
The Strathalbyn Senior Colt Best and Fairest award is called the Evergreen Glen Trophy which commemorates the memory of SFC Life Member Mr .P. G. (Glen) Joy, who played for the SFC from 1924 to 1933.
The Strathalbyn Junior Colt Best and Fairest award is called the President’s Trophy.
