Our week started off with our U9 Moddies playing a scratchy on Friday night under lights. The kids enjoyed playing at night and it was great to see so many families at the club.
The rest of our teams headed to Tiger town today for what turned out to be a great day of footy for most of our sides!
Our Minis were once again impressive and these kids just keep on getting better every week. Such a strong team that is full of superstars and we can’t wait to see what this group will be like by the time the end of season Mini Colts Carnival arrives 
Our Junior Colts blitzed their game today! Max Fergs kicked 7 goals today and slotted himself in the top spot for BOG this week. But there were many more contributors to the game, with all players getting plenty of the ball.
The Senior Colts recognised Tom Scott and Tommy Welk’s 100th games as Roosters but unfortunately the team were not able to get the win today for the boys. The back lines certainly had their work cut out for them and worked hard for all four quarters. Unfortunately we couldn’t make a come back this time around
Our Rooster Reserve’s confidence has certainly lifted this week and it was noticeable straight out of the gates. With so many contributors across the game it was tough for our coaches to select best players. Simmo Jnr launching a goal from outside the 50 metre mark and slotting it straight through the big sticks with ease was awesome to watch. #kidcankick. Speaking of big sticks, Josh Gilbert had a great game today. Duffield Snr showed he still has what it takes and a few passages of play between Duff Snr and Duff Jnr were awesome to watch
Our A Grade came out and took control of the game from the get go! The Captain, Micca Elliot worked hard all game feeding the forwards the ball and also kicked a couple of goals himself while he was at it. We had 9 individual goal scorers across the team but the game became the “Bro Show” with Brodie Martin kicking 10 goals.
Well done to all our Roosters today! Next week we play at HOME against Mt Compass and don’t forget we have our social night on after the game
