Arrangements for this weekend.

We look forward to playing this weekend. We have full spectators attending and subsequently still require volunteers in the BBQ shed and canteen. You can sign up here

We will be serving $10 pizza or lasagne following the A Grade game. There is no social function in the evening.

Please note the following arrangements for this weekend.

Outdoor community sporting events can host spectators under the following conditions:

  • Maximum of 1,000 spectators permitted (density permitting at 1 person per 2sqm)
  • All spectators attending outdoor sporting events must wear masks at all times (unless eating or drinking). This applies to all areas of the venue, both inside and outside
  • Spectators must be seated during consumption of all food and drink
  • It is also highly recommended that all other persons at the event, including but not limited to players, officials and volunteers also wear a mask

Please note that persons aged 12 and under do not have to wear masks, and that players and officials don’t have to wear masks while participating in the game/exercising. SA Health also outline other circumstances where it might not be possible to wear a mask HERE.

SA Health’s mask messaging is simple – if you can wear a mask, please wear a mask.

Further to the above, just a reminder the following is also in effect:

  • Singing restrictions remain in place (no club songs in changerooms)
  • Seated consumption remains (indoors & outdoors)
  • Masks required to be worn in inside shared public spaces (ie: licenced venues)
  • Medical support staff (such as trainers, doctors, physios) must wear a mask while administering player treatment – at training and on game day

Again we remind you of our Key Principles to Return to Play as follows:

  • Density requirements, and/or maintaining 1.5m apart where possible must be observed where possible
  • QR Code and Manual Check In Systems in place
  • Presence of COVID Marshals
  • “Get In/Get Out” should be observed where possible
  • Hygiene and testing protocols previously implemented will still apply (including no shared drink bottles, lolly bowls etc)

Stay safe! See you at the footy!
